Our Fall Colours from Quebec to the Maritimes trip features a mix of historic hotels and inns, including Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac, as well as upscale, 4-star properties.

While our vacations are not typically 'escorted', our Fall Colours from Quebec to the Maritimes trip does include exclusive small-group experiences. In the Eastern Townships of Quebec, and between Bathurst, NB, and Halifax, NS, you will travel in a small group with a dedicated guide and explore hidden gems in these provinces.

Some meals are included on this trip. Enjoy a selection of the region's best dining experiences as well as meals on the train.

Absolutely! While there are certain parts of this itinerary that cannot be changed, you can still personalize your vacation by:

  • Adding extra days: Spend more time in Montreal or Halifax (the start and end locations of this trip).
  • Adding destinations: Explore other parts of Canada before or after this itinerary starts.
  • Requesting alternative hotels: In some destinations, we may be able to swap you to a different hotel/room type if there's availability.

Simply discuss your travel goals with our local travel experts and they'll ensure your trip aligns with your preferences.

In Sleeper Plus Class on VIA Rail's Ocean Train, your experience includes:

  • A private cabin: Your cabin features comfortable seating that converts to bunk-style beds, plus a sink and toilet. A shared shower is available nearby.
  • Hot meals: Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner in the classic dining car. Meals are prepared by chefs onboard the train.
  • Complimentary refreshments: Tea, coffee, and snacks are available throughout the journey. Non-alcoholic drinks are included, while alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.
